Elizabeth Phung is an independent photographer currently based in Beijing. After graduating with a Business degree from the University of Washington in 2009, Elizabeth spent a year twiddling her thumbs in Seattle before hastily deciding to ride her bike down the Pacific coast to California. Following her cycle tour, Elizabeth moved to Beijing to pursue her interest in photography.

Elizabeth’s recent work reflects individuals’ relationships with space and environment in China. She is also interested in documenting social and environmental changes brought on by China’s rapidly developing economy.
